Luminous, Brilliant and Intense these beautiful paintings have an air of Mystery about them, at times they are translucently aglow and shimmer. At other times they shift into opacity and repose.

Annika Paulini was raised in Sweden's beautiful capitol of Stockholm and since 1987 has resided in Costa Mesa, California, USA. Her sincerity for the Arts awakened in 1990 and with this awakened Passion she started a journey of exploration, learning how to express herself, as well as through which visual arts to do so.

Over the years, Annika has found the mediums and techniques that express her Devotion to Beauty. She shares with us:

"With my oil painting on gold leaf I acquire colours of extra ordinary luminosity, brilliance and intensity. Floating the birch panel with copper wire inside the frame creates a Space surrounding the "painting" a magical wholeness is created to realize these Beautiful paintings. My sources of inspiration are found in the miracle and mystery of nature, family, friends and in my relationship with the Divine."
