as the sun rising from the mists of faeryland are the shining images of
the Faery Wicca Tarot. Each symbol reflects a truth designed to
make your life decisions wiser, your spiritual journey richer.
The Faery
Wicca Tarot blends the mystical power of Irish mythology, the ancient
Irish Faery Tradition, and the modern Faery-Faith Tradition into a wonderous
tool for inner transformation.
What
else makes the Faery Wicca Tarot special? The cards are divided
into four groupings: Domhan (earth), Aer (air), Tine (fire), and Uisce
(water). These are traditioanlly known as pentacles, swords, wands and
cups. There are also 16 Helper Cards, traditionally known as the Court
Cards. There are 22 Ancient Ones Cards, usually known as the trump cards.
The One Power Card is known as the Tree of Life Card. The Four Gift of
Faery Cards, the Crane Bag, the Apple Branch, the Musical Wand, and the
Holy Stone bring forth a new skill and symbol for deeper meditation, and
provides a magickal lesson from the Tuatha De Danann.
Each of
the 83 cards (five of which are specific to this deck based on the Irish
Faery-Faith Tradition) captures a Bardic teaching designed to lead you
along a spiritual passage through the wisdom of the ancients, culminating
in a shamanic journey to the Otherworld of Faery.
